(SOLD) Seiko 6105-8119 Captain Willard

$3,000.00
Sold Out

Here we have available for sale a SEIKO 6105-8119, manufactured in April 1973, commonly referred to as the Captain Willard. This particular watch was purchased directly from the original owner, only adding to its authenticity. Please note that it does not come with a box or papers.

This watch has undergone a significant upgrade here at TWR, transforming the original 17 jewel 6105B into a more efficient 21 jewel 6105B, allowing it to be enjoyed for many years ahead. Among the parts replaced during the recent service were the crystal, which has been replaced with a Kline vintage watch reproduction hardlex crystal. Additionally, all gaskets were replaced, including a full rebuild of the crown. The gasket set used is from VTA and is made of heavy-duty blue EPDM material.

The twist-to-lock crown post is fully functional. This timepiece comes on the original rubber waffle strap, complete with its original buckle, adding to its vintage appeal.

The watch was manufactured in April 1973, and the dial code is 33. All lume is original, and all parts are in their authentic state. As for the finish on the case, I believe it to be original as well, although it does show some signs of wear, including a noticeable ding around the 9 position on the side of the case.

please do not hesitate to reach out with questions.

this watch, like any other watch I service will come with a warranty of two years.
